this is the mobo, not the cpu we are talking about. Aluminum is a non ferous metal which means that it contains little to no iron and holds no magnetic charge. (which is fantastic news for static sensitive ic's ) For those It can be hard to determine if high temperatures are damaging your PC before it crashes, but there are things to watch out for.
my question is, would this be counter productive, as it insulates the case except at the fan ports......or is it a practical idea ? Runs so much cooler, that I've uprated to a 2.8 GHz genuine P4; although it has a higher TDP, it runs at least 15-20C cooler.
