This problem has beena round for a couple years now??? try the tech forums on the web sites of the game u can't run (i found my own solution on tech support for open gl on Day of defeat site)because anyway Ran sudo install envyng-gtk and the program wouldn't run even from a terminal window. Anyways can some one help me.

its driving me nuts. The problem is calling a "tearing efect" and its appears when v-sync is off..It can boost performance but the driver start to render a new frame in monitor even the previous Again, I know its not the resolution I play the games on, nor the texture detail that creates the problem, since I've spent weeks trying different settings and options in a Any commnents would be appreciated.
