Tried many things like you did and nothing worked.I figured out that the cables on the outlet where messed up due to a water leak from the upstairs neighbor. I usually find that changing the channel the modem transmits the WiFi signal on can help. As CenturyLink and Qwest merge companies, we are working hard to combine our systems. Additionally, if the cord you're using is more than 14-feet long, using a shorter cord may improve your Internet connection. Check This Out

If this does not work please let me know and we will find a solution for you! When I travel with this laptop it stays connected 100%. Troubleshooting: Wired connection If you're using a wired (as opposed to a wireless) connection, check your DSL filters.
