I've tried everything completely reformating the hard drive and performing a clean installation of vista ultimate to no avail. Vista is crap. Co-ax cables. This is a known issue in their 2007 product, yet they do not readily make this information available on their website.

If using wireless, have you tried changing which freq it is using? My Linksys WRT54GL router was the cause Failing to locate a duplex setting on this unit, I quickly determined that this may not be the culprit for the slow network transfers.
